An unofficial transcript bears no seal or signature. Each student is entitled to one free official copy and one free unofficial "student copy" for their personal records.
Requests for transcripts will be honored only if the request is made in writing by the student to the office of the Registrar and is accompanied by a $5 fee. A transcript cannot be released until all debts to the college have been paid.

ESL Lab
The English as a Second Language Institute at Divine Word College has its own computer lab for student use equipped with 10 computers. The lab is open 24/7, with a student assistant available during the evenings. Besides a fast T1 connection to the internet, many programs for learning English are also available, as are a wide variety of print reference texts and novels.
Tutors
Experienced and successful students serve as peer tutors eager to help you with your assignments in English, writing, math, and philosophy. They can't correct your papers or do your homework for you. But these tutors can answer questions to help you understand reading, writing, and math assignments, explain processes, review terms and concepts, develop and present your ideas effectively, and point out areas for improvement. We're always on the lookout for committed and dynamic tutors, so if you think you qualify, let us know on your visit to campus.
GED Preparation
For applicants who have not completed a high school degree, instructors from nearby Northeast Iowa Community College provide preparatory coursework on the Divine Word College campus to help students pass the high-school equivalency tests and earn a General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
