We wish to ensure the future development of missionaries who will serve throughout the world by increasing the endowment at Divine Word College from our present level of $10 million to $20 million by the year 2012, largely through bequests, major gifts, and prudent investment of our resources. We wish to reach a point at which endowment income will allow us to someday meet annual obligations, including student scholarships, employee salaries, building maintenance and improvements, and other major capital expenses.

At this point in our development we will address critical needs within our college as we have the means and resources to do so, while concurrently building our endowment as opportunities arise. In both instances we will be reliant upon the good will and generous support of friends and benefactors of Divine Word College to achieve our objectives.

We have identified many and varied needs that presently exist at the college ranging from physical improvements to those needs that are educational, cultural, and spiritual in nature. One common thread runs throughout—each contribute to the holistic experience that will become tomorrow’s Divine Word College.
